Clandestino 064 – Duke Slammer

Since 2011 Duke Slammer has released a highly collectable series of 7” vinyl and even a gold cassette championing a sound that’s heavily laced with moog bass, wonky drums and wiggly worm synth lines with funk always firmly on the agenda. His current release ‘Bangkok Skytrain’ on the excellent Cosmic Pint Glass label is an […]

Clandestino 063 – Heretic

Surprisingly we’d not yet showcased a mix from Heretic but all good things come to those who wait and suffice to say it does not disappoint. Clandestino 052 – Bird of Paradise

Stepping forward for the next edition in the series is one of our favourite new producers Bird of Paradise; or to give him his Sunday name: Jo Howard. Emerging from the UK’s North East electronic music scene Jo’s solo project saw a quality debut EP on People Get Real’s Join Our Club, bringing him to the attention of Man Power and Throne of Blood Records for a remix on the former’s ‘Trans’ EP. A track on Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant label quickly followed with releases slated for LBL and Blindetonation later this year. One to watch

An OOFT DJ mix is always a delight so it’s with great pleasure we welcome Ali Herron to our podcast series this time around. His Sade rework is already one of our favourite tracks of the year and selling fast; the next FOTO release sees DJ Steef make his bow in May with the lead track ‘Shaking’ included here. Glasgow followers should most certainly head to the Berkeley Suite this Saturday April 18th where OOFT takes to the decks with the sublime and inimitable Tornado Wallace
